GRIEF IN PASSING
Grief in Passing is a photography series that documents the funeral of CHARI’s grandfather. The work captures the quiet, often overlooked moments of mourning, the fleeting gestures, objects, glances and subtle “seams” that surface in the midst of grief.
Through attention to ordinary details and ephemeral instants, the series explores how loss is experienced in both public ritual and private interiority. Grief in Passing reflects on the simultaneity of presence and absence, revealing the textures, rhythms, and contradictions of grieving as it unfolds .
